From the Wreckage

So it Finally happened. All the shit that has been brewing on Wyldryde for the past few months has finally come to an end. "Wyldryde" was sold to Besttechie Holdings (twats).

The tyranical leader sold it to them without telling anyone, so all of the server owners upped and left and created GeekShed taking with them the TFlash web IRC Client, Chris Pirillo's channel, CNETfans channel, Geeks To Go, 247fixes and all the other big, well run channels leaving Besttechie's plans to rule over a large empire well and truly shafted.

I'm glad all of the server admins upped and left them because now GeekShed is being run how an IRC network should be and not by some dishonest tyrant who only wanted personal gain (by personal gain I mean no one knows what's happened to hundreds if not thousands of dollars of donations that went to Wyldryde). The accounts for GeekShed are publicly available on their website you can see who has donated what and where what money has gone.

I'm sure people will correct me on some of this post but thats just how I saw what happend. I'm glad this happened and I'm more than happy with the new network. It's just what the IRC Community I'm involved with needed.

Peace out, Stuzilla.

Moving

Am I the only person starting to get sick of people constantly moving IRC Servers? It Seems there's always somone somewhere that falls out with someone else and decideds to move IRC Server or create thier own, i'll admit that yes i'm on 3 IRC Servers for different people but at the same time i've never completely left one, i've always stuck around for different people on different servers its just every now and then someone drops all the ones their on and moves elsewhere and expects everyone to folow them. Then you get some people basicly say "Fuck you im NEVER Comming back im sick of drama" and then come back like a week later kissing ass, Wtf is up with that?

Now I have that rant out i feel a little betterits about time i posted another blog anyway as like i said i'm trying to keep this pretty updated at last now i have some free time. Speaking of Free Time im now embarking on a little side project of Designing Logo's for people So Far i've Designed the New Logo's for AGL and Box-Help.net and i plan on Re Branding This Site and forums with a whole new set of logo's too. I have also Just changed the forums to PhpBB  from SMF so they're more stable now and look a little better.

If you are interested in having a Logo Designed please Feel free to send me an Email to Mail{at}stuzilla.com and i'll get back to you with info.

Thats it for another blog post, as soon as i can think of anything else worth saying i'll try and remember to write up a new post and if you've made it this far i thank you for Reading.

iPocalypse IRC Network

I have been around iPocalypse IRC Network since its creation. After experiencing the professionalism of the network staff, and technical communities which caught my interest, I became more involved. Eric, Simon, and Kyle are the 3 founders of iPocalypse. I have became friends with all of them, and knew them before iPocalypse. I feel the network staff are easy to get along with, and show interest in getting to know the communities that walk around the network.

The professionalism, and initiative taken by all members of staff allow for growth, and a friendly environment. When there is a problem on iPocalypse, it is dealt with quickly. The negativity, and drama found on every IRC network is substantially lower on iPocalypse than my other commonly connected IRC networks. Once again, this allows for a friendly environment, and lets people focus on their community and goals easier within the network.

Why should you choose iPocalypse for your community? Well, iPocalypse has teamed up with http://www.phirefast.com Where you can find more information about their iPackage deal at http://www.phirefast.com/ipoc/ -- Ares, Partner & Program Director for Phirefast says:

“I've been really happy with iPocalypse. The ShoutDRIVE chat has become one of our most popular features in large part due to iPocalypse's solid network and fantastic support team. It's turned out to be an ideal solution for ShoutDRIVE.”

IRC? Well, what exactly is IRC? Maybe some people reading this don’t exactly understand the technical side among IRC Networks. This is where iPocalypse shines. The staff, and community can help you learn all you need to know about IRC commands, management, etc. www.ipocalypse.net has a featured list of commands explained in detail.

Generally speaking, it’s tough to find that perfect community. Give iPocalypse a try and you have my word you’ll be beyond satisfied!
